We’re looking for a Digital Content Assistant to play a key role in our small but ambitious team.
The Digital Content Assistant will draw on their media production skills to deliver and document our events using HD video, live streaming and sound recording.
They will play a key part in managing BOM’s website using WordPress and ecomms including MailChimp e-newsletters, ensuring content is available through the BOM website and shared through social media.
The Digital Content Assistant is a new role in a thriving new creative space for art technology and science. The person will be managed by the Director and supported by a small staff team and talented community of Fellows (artists, creative technologists and scientists).
The Digital Content Assistant will also help deliver education events such as workshops, talks and performances.
This paid internship has been created as part of the Creative Employment Programme. The Creative Employment Programme is an Arts Council England fund to support the creation of traineeships, formal apprenticeship and paid internship opportunities in England for unemployed young people wishing to pursue a career in the arts and cultural sector.
There are certain criteria you must meet in order to be eligible to apply for a Creative Employment Programme funded internship. At the time of applying you must be aged 18 to 24 years old and you must be registered as unemployed with Jobcentre Plus. These eligibility criteria have been approved by the Department of Work and Pensions.
