*MARCH 1st-3rd WE HAVE PRIVATE EVENTS AT BOM SO NO CO-WORKING*
From 2nd February, you are invited to delve into the research and developing works of local artists, technologists and scientists.
BOM’s fellow programme brings together a community of creative practitioners and artists, working across the S.T.E.A.M subjects; Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths. From exhibitions, events, education & engagement, the fellows play a central role in all of BOM’s artistic programmes.
As part of the Live R&D project, the gallery will become a collaborative workspace, as we invite audiences to be our co-workers and contribute to BOM’s evolving artist programmes. There will be a free co-working desk where you can meet and work alongside the Fellows and a plethora of other creative folk. Get feedback about your own projects, learn new skills and grab a coffee or a ‘humble working lunch’ from our restaurant. A changing display shows Fellows’ works-in-progress and highlights BOM’s plans for the year ahead.
Residencies at BOM are awarded to individuals, both up-and-coming & veterans in their chosen fields. From photographers, visual artists, bio-chemists, engineers, coders and much, much more, the Fellows’ work explores creative fields such as open source technologies, ethical hacking, interactive and immersive technologies and media archaeology. If you think your project could benefit from the expertise of one of our fellows, or if you’re just interested in finding out more about them, then head on down to our gallery and bring an open mind (and a laptop if you have one!).
Come to be inspired, learn and share……………..
