Part-Time Catering Supervisor
We are seeking an enthusiastic part time caterer to work Wednesday – Saturday, private hires and events. These days will increase as we get busier.
The candidate will be required to work 2 /3 days a week on opposite days to the other Catering Supervisor. It will involve working with both the current Catering Supervisor and BOM’s Operations Manager.
Tasks involve: making food to order, weekly ordering, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene and working with the Front of House Cafe team member. Basic admin skills, preparing for events and plan future promotions, marketing and social media posts with the Operations Manager. You will also be customer facing when FOH team are not present.
The candidate must be able to:
* cook and present a simple menu
* have excellent customer service
* computer literate
* be organised
* basic admin skills
* have attention for detail
Desired but not essential skill:
* coffee /barista knowledge
* bar service
We would love to hear from you if you have a passion for food, drink and a love for great coffee. You will be committed to outstanding customer service and will also get on well with colleagues as you will be working in a small but friendly team. You will need to be confident working alone. You will have a flexible attitude and a willingness to learn more about BOM.
We need someone who is able to perform well under pressure without losing sight of the high standards expected. You will need to be available to work flexible shifts including every other Saturday.
Training will be given on systems and hygiene.
