Artificial Identities workshop with Libby Heaney
Oct 19, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Libby Heaney (artist, researcher and lecturer with a background in quantum physics) will be running a free workshop exploring (celebrity) identities through augmented reality and artificial intelligence.
We will start by discussing famous musicians and how they communicate their identity (or brand) through their looks/costumes. Libby will demonstrate some of her work with live artificial intelligence and famous musicians. In pairs plan, design and create your own musical persona using augmented reality set within background installations.
You will make a video of your persona. The top two videos (voted for by the group) will be developed into live artificial intelligence experiences, to be presented at BOM during our birthday event in November.
Please note, there are two workshops taking place (5th October and 19th October) they are the same workshop repeated.
Places are free but please register via our Eventbrite listing.
