Diane Wiltshire’s Sentiment

January 5th 2016, 8:00 am - February 7th 2016, 5:00 pm

What if you couldn’t just hear someone’s opinion, but could feel it too?

Come along to studio 4 at BOM between December 7th and February 7th to take part in this exploration of how we live and who we are.

Between November 2013 & February 2015, Diane Wiltshire interviewed fifty participants with varying experiences and backgrounds including; New Age Travellers, Monks, Army Personnel, Union Members and MP’s. She recorded their responses to 40 questions through interviews and bio data.

Sentiment is a living project, participants contribute to the adoptions of interaction and immersion aspects of this project. The original participants can be heard through seven speakers positioned in a circle, sometimes all jostling for your attention, other times a dominant voice with interjections. The end user can move freely round the space, choosing whom ever they want to listen to, while the wearable device delivers the original participants emotional response through sensation.

Over 18’s only. Visitors may find some content distressing.
