Hacked! Games Re-designed Preview

September 12th 2019, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join us for a free drink to celebrate the opening of our new exhibition.

This Autumn we invite audiences of all ages and abilities to play a curated selection of video games and devices that make gaming more inclusive. We’ve teamed up with Blogger and disabled gamer Vivek Gohil on a mission to make gaming accessible, because when everybody plays, we all win.

From Microsoft’s new Xbox Adaptive Controller, to low-fi hacked alternatives and arcade machines re-invented by artists, Hacked! presents some of the game changing devices that offer radically different ways to interact beyond simple fingers and thumbs.

Exhibition runs from 13 September – 21 December 2019.
Gallery open Wednesdays to Saturdays, 12 – 5pm. Free Entry

Hacked! Games Re-designed is supported by Arts Council England and Culture Central’s Birmingham Weekender in Digbeth.
Mood Pinball is commissioned by the Open Data Institute (ODI) in partnership with the University of Southampton DataStories project, supported by the EPSRC, grant number EP/PO25676/1.
