Life Echo: Preview
October 25th 2016, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join us in celebrating the opening of Justin Wiggan’s Solo exhibition; Life Echo. Wiggan’s exploration into memory and sound transforms from a Live Lab into an exhibition on 25 October, showcasing unique ‘Life Echoes’ inside custom made pods.
This special event sees ‘Lived in Echoes’ (Wiggan) perform buried vinyl Deadsongs collection with vocals and will be joined by Chris Mapp, Michael Ridge and Tom Tebby performing an exclusive set. There will be a unique ‘brain tears’ drinks and of course, the opportunity to nestle into the Life Echoes themselves….
Life Echo is Wiggan’s ground-breaking experiment in sound and memory, originally developed with John Taylor Hospice for patients receiving end of life care. The process involves a highly personalised journey through memory to create a ‘phonic memory map’ of key points in a person’s life, and identifies sound triggers that have been found to stimulate communication and consciousness for participants.
